Police in Stone Mountain are looking for a 72-year-old Arkansas woman who drove to Georgia this spring and has not been heard from since June.

Sherry A. Wages left her home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on or around March 18 and later traveled to Georgia, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.

The last confirmed in-person sighting of her was on May 27 at the Stone Mountain Post Office, according to FOX 5. She stayed in touch with her family for a short time afterward, and her last known message to them, a text, was sent on June 9.

The Stone Mountain Police Department received the missing-person case on Aug. 10 and is working to determine where Wages went after she was last seen, FOX 5 reported. Arkansas authorities previously said she may be in the Atlanta area, according to FOX 5.
